The Canadian Quilters’ Association/Association canadienne de la courtepointe (CQA/ACC) invite quilters across the country to Kamloops, BC next May. The local organizing committee is delighted to showcase all the CQA/ACC events as well as provide many other quilting exhibits for your enjoyment. This is the first time that the CQA/ACC will hold its activities in a convention center. In addition to the 2007 National Juried Show, come and enjoy the CQA/ACC Invitational Show, the CQA/ACC Trend-Tex Challenge Quilt Show & Auction, three days of workshops with three of Canada’s finest quilting teachers, a Quilters’ Merchant Mall, Meet the Teacher Night, CQA/ACC Town Hall Meeting, and a closing banquet with a Kamloops flair.

All workshops, meetings, the National Juried Show, the CQA/ACC Trend-Tex Challenge Show, the Invitational Show, the Quilters’ Merchant Mall and banquet will be at Forster’s Convention Centre. The Meet the Teacher evening will be held at Kamloops Calvary Community Church, across the street from Forster’s.

VSM Canada, distributor of Husqvarna Viking and Pfaff sewing machines, is the major coporate sponsor for Quilt BC 2007. All the classes requiring the use of a sewing machine will be set up ahead of time.  VSM Canada is supplying a selection of Husqvarna Viking and Pfaff sewing machines for all classes. No transportation of machines is required!

Event participants will be responsible for their own accommodations, meals and transportation. Lunch will be provided, as part of the registration, for those quilters taking the one day workshops.
